About Gemma
Gemma qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in Australia in 2001. Her career has developed into a specialist focus on supporting people living with neurological conditions, injuries and complex care needs.
She founded Neuro Massage to offer personalised massage that takes account of the whole person: their comfort, preferences, circumstances and what matters to them.
Her approach combines practical experience with careful listening, recognising that every person’s needs are different and can change over time.
Care shaped around the individual
Gemma takes time to understand what someone wants from their session and how massage can fit into their existing care and daily life.
Sessions are adapted around individual preferences, positioning, communication and comfort. Her focus is on creating a respectful environment where people feel listened to, involved and at ease.
From practice to education
Gemma also founded Neuro Training School, bringing her experience into education for massage therapists, carers and other people supporting those with neurological and complex needs.
She helps develop training programmes that connect knowledge with practical considerations: adapting touch, communicating clearly and respecting each person’s comfort and choices.
Neuro Massage and Neuro Training School share a commitment to making thoughtful, individual care more accessible through both practice and education.
